Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Your Recruiters Limited. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and facilities, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a high level of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on plant and facilities to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct electrical fault-finding and repair work on a variety of equipment, including conveyors, presses, and mixers.
  • Work with TPM & PPM systems to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Qualification in NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and electrical fault-finding.
  • Knowledge of TPM & PPM systems and experience with Siemens & Allen Bradley controlled systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
