Job Title: Leisure Centre Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Leisure Centre Attendant to join our team at Fife Sports and Leisure Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and enjoyable use of our facilities by customers of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Leisure Centre users, ensuring safe use of facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the building, including wet, dry, and other areas.
  • Control facilities, issue and safeguard clothing and personal belongings, and assemble and dismantle equipment.
  • Oversee general safety and behaviour of the public and users, directing activities to prevent injury or misuse.
  • Adhere to operating procedures, including Normal Operation Procedures and Emergency Action Plan.
  • Attend regular Health & Safety training to maintain required competency.
  • Provide trained assistance to customers in difficulty, including poolside and lifesaving skills.
  • Patrol the building to carry out routine maintenance and building security.
  • Supervise children's activities, including birthday parties and Activity Camps.
  • Carry out pool tests and assist in plant room operations as required.
  • Undertake basic administration functions, including taking bookings and receiving cash.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a knowledge of customer care requirements.
  • Be conscientious and hard working.
  • Have strong communications skills.
  • Display an outgoing personality.
  • Be able to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to carry out the duties of the post effectively.
