As a Service Lift Technician, you will be responsible for managing a designated service route comprising approximately 100 units. The distribution of routes will be organized to minimize travel and maintain a manageable workload.

This independent lift engineering firm has successfully broadened its portfolio of service contracts.

The company boasts a dedicated team of 15 engineers who specialize in service, repair, and emergency callout operations across the South and South West regions.

The organization provides both maintenance and installation services to its clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient in diagnosing lift faults.
- Capable of executing first-time repairs on both passenger and goods lifts.
- Participate in an on-call schedule.
- Provide mentorship to junior service engineers.

As a Service Lift Technician, you will perform minor repairs on various types of lifts, including traction and machine-room-less (MRL) systems.

You will also be responsible for reporting defective lifting equipment and ordering necessary replacement parts.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Currently employed as a Lift Service Repair Technician or possess transferable skills from roles such as Lift Modernization Technician, Lift Installation Technician, or Lift Repair Technician.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with passenger lifts.
- Must hold a valid, clean driving license and be open to travel.
- Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline.
- Reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the specified regions.
