About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Service Technician to join our team at Ganymede. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our clients in the rail sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out fault diagnostics on modern diesel engines, downloading data, and ECU familiarity.
  • Provide remote diagnostic work to obtain, evaluate, and interpret data to identify likely faults before physically seeing the engine.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ3 qualification in mechanical and electrical maintenance of diesel engines and/or propulsion systems.
  • Proven experience in fault diagnostics and remote diagnostics and conditioning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Field-based role covering the M4 Corridor area.
  • 4 on 4 off shift basis.
