Position: Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician

Company: Pertemps Bond

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience

Primary Duties:

  • Conduct routine maintenance on fleet vehicles
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Execute preventative maintenance procedures
  • Perform both minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers
  • Manage inventory levels effectively
  • Adhere to Health and Safety standards
  • Prepare vehicles for inspections and servicing
  • Maintain accurate documentation
  • Support other tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Possess an NVQ Level Three certification or equivalent
  • Extensive knowledge of heavy goods vehicles, vans, and trailers
  • Hold a valid Driving License with C+E Entitlement
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical problems
  • Exhibit a proactive and positive demeanor
