Job Summary

This role is for a Care and Support Professional to work in a residential respite setting, providing care and support to adults with learning and physical disabilities and complex needs. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver high-quality care services, promoting independence and well-being for service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to service users with varying levels of need and dependency.
  • Deliver care in a sensitive and empathetic manner, prioritizing the needs and preferences of service users.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless delivery of care services.
  • Participate in risk assessments, moving and handling plans, and other related documentation to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.

Requirements

  • Ability to work a shift pattern that may include weekdays and weekends.
  • UK Right to Work is required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
