Senior Geo-Environmental Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geo-Environmental Project Engineer to join our team at Evan Craig. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality geo-environmental and geotechnical consultancy services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and lead geo-environmental and geotechnical projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies to meet client needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists, engineers, and technicians, to deliver comprehensive geo-environmental and geotechnical solutions.
- Conduct site investigations, contaminated land assessments, and geotechnical design, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (geology, environmental science, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, physical geography, etc.).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in geo-environmental and geotechnical consultancy, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of geo-environmental and geotechnical principles, including soil mechanics, contaminated land assessment, and geotechnical design.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant software packages.
- Full UK driving license (manual transmission).
- Competitive salary range £35,000 - £45,000.
- Twice-yearly reviews and salary increases based on performance.
- 23 days paid annual leave, plus bank holidays (3 days reserved over Christmas shutdown).
- Every second Friday off work (2FF scheme, opt-out available).
- Overnight stay allowance (£25 per night) and regular expenses incurred for food, etc.
