Data Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Manager to lead our data warehouse team in managing BAU data loads, storage, DR, reporting, and outbound data. The successful candidate will have expertise in database management, development, architecture, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the data warehouse team, manage workloads, and ensure timely delivery of reporting and development tasks.
  • Collaborate with the business to align with the BI roadmap and future needs.
  • Advocate for the data warehouse team in BAU and project meetings.
Delivery & Improvement:
  • Oversee BAU operations and improve warehouse processes for better performance.
  • Ensure new data sources are integrated and aligned with business needs.
  • Optimize Azure costs and ensure secure data access through RBAC.
Requirements:
  • Leadership and team development
  • MSSQL / MS SQL Azure
  • Database development and architecture
  • Stakeholder management
  • SQL Profiler, BCP
Desirable Skills:
  • Telecoms industry and project management experience
  • Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps
