Aerospace Equipment Manufacturer Opportunity

Morson Talent is currently recruiting for a skilled professional to work on behalf of a reputable Aerospace client based in Yeovil. This contract role offers a 3-month commitment with potential for extension.

The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing Aerospace Equipment in accordance with Manufacturing Instructions, Specifications, and Customer/Regulator Requirements. Working within an empowered team environment, the individual will meet delivery requirements and report directly to the Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vacuum blast, mill, clean, prep, and reactivate diaphragm components within a fixed process environment.
  • Operate in a Clean Room standard environment and adhere to all PPE requirements.
  • Ensure high-quality products by interpreting engineering drawings, following process layouts, and documenting procedures.
  • Work effectively in a lean environment, adhering to Company Processes & Procedures.
  • Collaborate with Designers and Engineers to achieve targets and meet customer expectations.
Attributes/Skills Required:
  • Understanding of Aerospace practice and the significance of safety-critical work.
  • PC literacy and ability to display essential skills in Health & Safety standards, teamwork, flexibility, and initiative.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset and willingness to undergo further training as required.

This position is subject to meeting the eligibility conditions of export control licenses and technical assistance agreements. Mandatory requirements include Full BPSS* Screening, including proof of Legal Right to Work, Criminal Records Check, and Drugs Screening.
