We're recruiting for a Supply Chain Business Partner to join our Corporate team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you'll play a critical role in coordinating new bids with customers, developing bid strategies, and evaluating risks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying potential suppliers and assessing their capabilities, reliability, and competitiveness
  • Reviewing existing products and helping product teams launch new products to increase the possibility of winning new bids
  • Reviewing existing tools and deal data to gain insights and drive strategies for new bids
  • Managing suppliers' finance stability and engaging with them to develop risk mitigation plans
  • Conducting regular feedback sessions with business account managers to drive continuous improvement in supply chain
  • Preparing and leading internal and/or external commercial negotiations and attending supplier and customer meetings

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of commercial contract management, with large financial value
  • Excellent procurement/contract negotiation skills to achieve best commercial outcome for Vodafone
  • An ability to develop commercial contracts based on a thorough understanding of legal and ethical environments and contract-related KPIs
  • Proficient understanding of contract law, strategic sourcing, and supplier management
  • Robust understanding of business, with an aptitude for building sustainable relationships to drive increased business performance and best value outcomes
