Job Overview

Engineering Shift Leader Position

Invictus Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Shift Leader to join our team on a permanent basis. This role involves working a continental shift in a dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers to ensure the effective delivery of tasks and projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage time effectively to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time, maintaining a high standard of work quality.
  • Deliver planned maintenance and reactive works in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Uphold the company's safe working processes and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Demonstrate a good level of commercial awareness and understanding of working within strict Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • City and Guilds qualification in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
  • Broad knowledge and experience of building services, including PPM, RW, minor works, fault finding, electrical infrastructure systems, HVAC, HV/LV switching, and general building fabric maintenance tasks.
  • Experience of managing a team, preferably in an engineering discipline, with a flexible approach to working and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations and the ability to liaise with management and workforce.
  • Ability to act on own initiative, be practical, and demonstrate good common sense.
