A prominent firm in the construction sector is on the lookout for a skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to become part of their social housing team. This position entails contributing to the development of residential properties, including houses and apartment complexes across the Yorkshire area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and management of financial estimates, budgets, and reports for social housing initiatives.
  • Support the oversight and control of project expenditures, ensuring they align with financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior quantity surveyors, project leaders, and contractors to collect and evaluate project data.
  • Participate in site inspections to monitor progress and verify costs.
  • Assist in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure cost-effective solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, contracts, and industry standards.

Qualifications:
