We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Goods-In Operative to join our manufacturing business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving and managing goods, ensuring the warehouse is maintained to high standards.

Responsibilities:
  1. Receive and offload inbound deliveries, verifying paperwork for accurate processing.
  2. Assist the Quality team with inspections as needed.
  3. Accurately label and store goods in designated locations using handheld scanners.
  4. Use handheld scanners to complete transfers and maintain system accuracy.
  5. Conduct daily forklift (FLT) inspections.
  6. Assist with stocktakes as required.
  7. Contribute to lean initiatives to improve efficiency within your area.
Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proficient in using modern handheld scanners
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-driven, and continuously seeking improvement opportunities
  • Working knowledge of IT systems
  • A forklift license is essential
