About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at EMCOR UK, where you will play a key role in supporting efficient contract operations and client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing company policies and procedures to ensure seamless contract operations.
- Maintain and develop technical skills to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.
- Perform Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Rectify defects and ensure compliance with safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Supervise contractors and ensure documentation requirements are met to maintain accurate records.
- Respond to maintenance tasks in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and housekeeping to reflect positively on the company.
- Comply with contractual requirements and management directives to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Relevant ONC/OND or equivalent qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline.
- Experience in building services environment, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and systems, including health and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and adapt to changing environments, with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
