Pertemps Leicester Driving is currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on a long-term basis for our esteemed distribution client.

The role involves the delivery of goods across the UK for a leading logistics provider, with on-site deliveries at national distribution centers and store deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver goods to stores across the UK, ensuring timely and accurate collections and deliveries from stores and depots.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle checks each morning to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Perform handball and pump truck work at all deliveries, adhering to strict safety protocols.
Working Hours and Rates:
  • Day shift, starting between 02:00 and 05:00, with 12-hour shifts and regular overtime opportunities.
  • Competitive hourly rate of £20.00 per hour, paid weekly.
  • Mon to Fri, ongoing long-term regular work with job security and a guaranteed 5 shifts per week.
