TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our client's team in Worthing. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing tax advisory services to a prestigious client base, including actors, artists, sports professionals, bloggers, vloggers, and YouTubers.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaising with HMRC: Correspond with HMRC regarding clearance applications, enquiries, and other tax-related matters.
- Tax Advisory Services: Draft reports and letters of advice on various tax advisory issues, including corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs, and staff incentive schemes.
- Calculation and Reporting: Prepare calculations to support tax advice and prepare tax returns, including research and development claims, VAT returns, and SDLT returns.
- Client Liaison: Liaise with clients and attend meetings with other team members to discuss tax-related matters.
- Training and Review: Train and review the work of more junior members of staff to ensure high-quality tax advisory services.
- Support to Directors: Provide support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group.
- Qualifications: CTA qualified or AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified with a keen interest in studying towards CTA.
- Experience: Essential experience in corporate taxes, with experience in other areas of tax being beneficial.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, good IT skills, excellent teamwork and organisational skills, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
