Our Security Team

Our Security team protects our people, data, assets, and premises to maintain trust in National Grid's services. As a Cyber Security Graduate, you will be expected to deliver successful outcomes from a selection of work areas and experience how we manage our cyber risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and assess potential security risks.
  • Assist in the implementation of security policies and procedures.
  • Prepare technical reports to support our strategy.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security risks are mitigated.
Our Graduate Programme

As a Cyber Security Graduate, you will join our 18-month graduate programme, which includes a tailored development pathway to support you as you develop a wide range of leadership, business, and technical skills. You will attend in-person and virtual development sessions throughout your programme to equip you with the essential skills required for your career at National Grid.

What You'll Need to Apply

You will need to achieve a minimum 2:1 in a Cyber Security or IT degree with a Cyber Component(s). It doesn't matter when you graduated or if you are currently working towards your qualification. You may need to have a full valid UK driving license that allows you to drive in the UK for some of our Cyber roles.

Location

This role is based in Warwick, offering flexible hybrid working, where possible.

What You'll Get in Return

We are proud to offer a graduate starting salary of £34,895. You will also receive a £2,000 bonus, once joined and started on the programme. Other benefits include 26 days holiday, up to £200 per month accommodation allowance, and additional annual leave for when you move between placements, plus assistance with moving personal belongings.
