The role involves overseeing product and process innovation aligned with the company's R&D and marketing goals. The individual will serve as the UKCA and CE liaison officer for personal protective equipment.

Working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, and 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities of the Fire Protection Technical Lead:

  • Providing expert advice to clients regarding fabric selection, specification inquiries, and material properties.
  • Coordinating the management of internal and external non-conformances and complaints to ensure prompt root cause analysis, corrective measures, and ongoing enhancement of manufacturing processes.
  • Delivering timely release documentation to clients in accordance with specified requirements.
  • Monitoring Cost of Quality KPIs and implementing necessary corrective actions to meet targets.
  • Assisting in the training and development of all staff concerning quality management systems, standards, and customer expectations.
  • Recruiting, hiring, and training technical personnel.
  • Inspiring and developing team members to reach their full potential.
  • Creating a collaborative and productive workplace atmosphere.
  • Addressing performance challenges and offering constructive feedback.

Essential Skills for the Fire Protection Technical Lead:

  • Experience in fire safety, acoustic/thermal insulation materials, and facade systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong technical expertise and experience in the relevant industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A problem-solving mindset with critical thinking abilities.
