About the Role

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our team in Weymouth. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in enhancing students' understanding and mastery of specific subjects by providing personalized instruction and support tailored to their individual learning needs.

Your role will involve providing targeted instruction in core subjects, offering guidance to help build confidence and skills, and preparing teaching materials to support student learning. You will also assist with homework and exam preparation, and foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized tutoring sessions to students in various subjects.
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans based on individual student needs.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Assist with homework and exam preparation.
  • Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Tutor or in a similar educational role.
  • Strong knowledge of the subjects you will be tutoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or tutoring are desirable.
