Senior/Principal Electrical Hardware Engineer

Are you a seasoned Electronics Hardware Engineer looking for a new challenge? Do you want to contribute to the development of cutting-edge Space Imaging technology?

We are working with a leading electronics design and development company within the Aerospace and Defence sector who specialize in Space Imaging technology. They are seeking a Senior/Principal Electrical Hardware Engineer to join their team and work on their in-house sensor device technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-speed imaging sensors, including CCDs, CMOS Image Detectors, and ROICs.
  • Lead on driving capability within the department, including mentoring and training of engineers within the team.
  • Prepare and present all necessary relevant electrical design documentation for gate reviews, for internal and external use.
  • Verify and test electronics, and prepare all associated documentation in a well-structured and clear way.
  • Develop electronic designs that are innovative and add value to new and existing test systems.
Requirements:
  • Full PCB design experience with space applications.
  • Strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle for high reliability electronics.
  • PCB CAD skills are essential.
  • Deep understanding of electronics and electrical interfaces.
