Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our team at Venture Up. As a Quantitative Researcher, you will be responsible for developing statistical models to compute the probabilities of outcomes in various sports. You will work on building probabilistic models, the quality and evolution of which are central to our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement statistical models to analyze sports data and predict outcomes.
  • Work with our team of experienced quants to design and develop new models and algorithms.
  • Collaborate with our data scientists to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in sports data analysis and machine learning.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in horse racing or basketball or US sports within the sports betting industry.
  • Electronic trading experience.
  • Experience in software design and development using Python, Pandas, and SQL/NoSQL, TensorFlow.
  • Straight As at A level (or equivalent).
  • Kaggle profile (or other practical statistical experience).
