About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Dental Nurse. As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work closely with our experienced dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists in a variety of NHS and private dental procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and experience.
  • Provide support and assistance to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their visit.
  • Follow strict health and safety and infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
  • Accurately complete patient clinical records and maintain accurate logs and checks.

Training and Development

We are committed to supporting our Trainee Dental Nurses in their career development. As part of our training program, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Gain hands-on experience in a clinical environment.
  • Develop your skills and knowledge through online learning and face-to-face training sessions.
  • Work towards achieving a National Diploma in Dental Nursing (Level 3) qualification.

Requirements

  • Dedicated to starting a career in dental nursing.
  • Able to commit to a 12-month+ training program.
  • Comfortable working in a clinical environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage appointments and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Compassionate and empathetic towards patients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • A team player with a positive attitude.
