Marketing Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Communications and Marketing Officer to support our team in delivering effective marketing campaigns and communications activities.
- Develop and implement proactive and coordinated communications and marketing strategies to support key initiatives.
- Create engaging content in plain English for various channels, including video and audio content.
- Engage with the public, stakeholders, and staff through a range of channels, including in-person and digital.
- Manage creative and professional services to ensure effective delivery of marketing activities, such as design, print, and video production.
- Evaluate communications and marketing activities to ensure effectiveness and value for money, identifying opportunities to optimize performance and feeding insights back to teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- In-depth knowledge and experience executing marketing campaigns, including campaign planning and delivery.
- Proven experience of creating successful digital content and managing social media channels within a Local Authority context.
- Knowledge and interest in issues relating to transport.
