Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Conveyancing Assistant to join our team at Bridge Recruitment Ltd. As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Residential Conveyancing Department in a busy and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare quotes and initial paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail
* Process identification documents and follow Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures
* Order Land Registry documents and searches, ensuring timely completion
* Type and prepare correspondence, documents, and forms with precision
* Liaise with estate agents and third parties via phone, email, or written correspondence
* Keep clients updated via phone and/or email, maintaining excellent communication skills
* Prepare contract packs and order redemption statements
* Assist with drafting invoices and completion statements
* Exchange contracts and organize completions, ensuring seamless transactions
* Download mortgage offers and update relevant systems
* Prepare bills and financial documentation
Requirements:
* Essential experience in a busy Residential Conveyancing Department
* Ideal experience in Private Client and/or Commercial Property, but not essential
* Understanding of handling sensitive and confidential information and financial details
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small, friendly team
