The ideal applicant will possess expertise in designing control systems and will be well-versed in conducting HAZOP and LOPA studies. Familiarity with Siemens TIA is preferred.

Position Overview:
  • Design and implement Safety and Control systems tailored for hazardous settings.
  • Conduct HAZOP and LOPA studies alongside comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Oversee site surveys, audits, and installation processes.
  • Perform pre-commissioning tests and manage final setup procedures.
  • Utilize Siemens TIA for PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Position Requirements:
  • Proven experience in designing safety systems compliant with IEC61511 standards.
  • Expertise in developing control systems for explosive atmospheres in accordance with BS EN / IEC60079.
  • Ability to engage in HAZOP and LOPA studies and conduct thorough risk assessments.
  • Experience leading Factory and Site Acceptance tests.
  • Proficient in supervising site surveys, audits, and installation processes.
  • Experience in conducting pre-commissioning tests.
  • Competency in Siemens TIA for PLC, HMI, and SCADA, with additional knowledge in Ignition configuration, SQL, and Networking being advantageous.
  • Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.
Remuneration:
  • Competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £70,000, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working model available after probationary period.
  • Annual bonus structure.
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Business mileage reimbursement.
  • 33 days of holiday, inclusive of public holidays.
  • Pension scheme offered.
