Position Overview

Title: Radiological Environmental Consultant

Contract Duration: 18-month engagement

Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite with a structured schedule

IR35 Status: Inside

As a Radiological Environmental Consultant, your key duties will include:

  • Developing, advising, and ensuring adherence to documentation that meets environmental standards at the facility.
  • Offering expert guidance on environmental and waste management issues.
  • Guaranteeing compliance with Environmental Permitting Regulations by applying Best Available Techniques (BAT) and submitting required reports to the regulatory body.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience within the nuclear sector or a related field.
  • Knowledge of compliance with Environmental Permitting Regulations concerning radioactive emissions.
  • Experience in projects related to nuclear decommissioning.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification as a Radioactive Waste Advisor (RWA).
  • Educational background equivalent to NQF level 6 / NVQ Level 6 or relevant experience.
