The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insurance Coverage Specialist to join our team at Clyde & Co. As a key member of our department, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex and challenging insurance coverage matters.

Recent Matters

  • Claims arising from the US Opioids epidemic, including coverage disputes and litigation.
  • Climate change litigation, including coverage issues and disputes.
  • Sexual abuse claims, including coverage and liability issues.
  • Multi-district litigations, including coverage and liability disputes.
  • Deepwater Horizon disaster, including coverage and liability issues.
  • Forever Chemicals, including coverage and liability disputes.
  • Dam collapses, oil spills, and other catastrophes, including coverage and liability issues.
  • Cancelled performances, including coverage and liability disputes.
  • Product liability claims, including coverage and liability issues.
  • D&O policies, including coverage and liability disputes.

Essential Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified as a solicitor or barrister in England & Wales or another relevant jurisdiction.
  • A desire to pursue a specialism in insurance coverage and the Bermuda Form.
  • 2-4 years' PQE experience in coverage law or insurance litigation/arbitration.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
