Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at SF Recruitment (Leicester) Careers. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all plant and equipment downtime is minimized and building upkeep is maximized through efficient response times, continuous improvements, data acquisition and analysis, while maintaining and developing a positive attitude towards costs, quality and health & safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Utilize electrical diagnostic and fault-finding techniques to identify and rectify issues in a timely manner.
  2. Monitor and improve Production Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics.
  3. Conduct regular health and safety checks to ensure compliance with company policies.
  4. Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of production machinery, documenting tasks and outcomes as required.
  5. Participate in projects as needed to drive business growth and improvement.

The ideal candidate will be apprentice-trained to level 3 and possess experience working in manufacturing environments. This is a live role, and all suitable candidates will be contacted within 48 working hours of applying.
