About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

Working closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for our campers. This will involve supervising children during activities, participating in swimming sessions, and ensuring the safe use of equipment.

We are committed to providing our staff with the necessary training and support to excel in their role. As a Sports Coach with Kings Camps, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years
  • Supervise children during activities and ensure their safety and well-being
  • Participate in swimming sessions and ensure the safe use of equipment
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager and team to create a positive and engaging environment for campers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and guardians
Requirements
  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active game
  • Vibrant, resilient, and team-oriented individual
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities available)
