Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for managing sub-contractors and their payments, inclusive of re-measures, account meetings, and site orders. You will liaise with site supervisors and contracts managers on a daily basis to quote for ongoing works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the work of sub-contractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with site supervisors and contracts managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Prepare and present detailed cost reports and analyses to stakeholders, highlighting areas of cost savings and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the accounts department to manage costs and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of working in a main contractor or refurbishment contractor environment.
- Degree-qualified or construction qualification/experience.
- Excellent commercial skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
