About This Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Emergency Nurse to join our dynamic Same Day Emergency Care team. You will play a vital role in leading and supporting our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of emergency nursing principles and best practices, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and standards.
- Effectively manage resources and personnel, optimizing workflow and patient flow within the Same Day Emergency Care unit.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic and coordinated care to patients.
- Promote a positive and supportive work environment, encouraging professional development and growth among team members.
Essential Requirements
- Post-registration experience in emergency care at Band 6 or 7 level.
- Proven leadership skills with a commitment to mentorship and professional development.
- Expert clinical knowledge and the ability to translate current developments in nursing practice into high-quality patient care.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Desirable Requirements
- Post-registration Teaching & Assessing Course qualification.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
