Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Catering Support Specialist to assist in delivering exceptional food services. This role involves working closely with the Chef Manager to ensure a high standard of catering is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a quality catering experience while adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety protocols.
- Minimize food waste during meal preparation and utilize kitchen equipment appropriately.
- Report any concerns or issues promptly.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of a Level 2 food safety certification.
- Understanding of health & safety procedures, including COSHH regulations.
- Previous experience in catering with a solid grasp of basic food safety and knife skills.
- Experience working with elderly individuals is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently.
