About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Designer to support our Health and Safety Consultancy team in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations 2015. They will work closely with multidisciplinary design teams and clients to provide expert advice and support during the design and pre-construction stages of projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to share knowledge and best practices across all professions. They will also have a strong understanding of CDM documentation and be able to develop and deliver core CDM documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support to design teams and clients on health and safety matters
  • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015
  • Develop and deliver core CDM documentation
  • Collaborate with other design disciplines to plan, manage, and coordinate health and safety during the pre-construction stage
Requirements
  • CMAPS qualification
  • CMIOSH qualification
  • Proven experience as a Principal Designer
  • Residential Housing Association experience (desirable)
