The successful candidate will join a structured engineering team and report directly to the Site Services Manager. We seek a professional and perceptive individual with a solid background in electrical engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, enabling them to perform general repair and maintenance tasks that are often overlooked by other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete statutory servicing and inspections along with necessary documentation.
  • Act as the Deputy Responsible Person for Electrical, Legionella, and Fire Systems.
  • Conduct electrical installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Oversee building repairs and maintenance, which may include joinery and plumbing tasks.
  • Manage general installations, breakdowns, and site maintenance.
  • Support daily engineering operations as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
  • Assist in the ongoing implementation of the Intersnack Working System (IWS).
  • Prepare for technical audits related to food safety and health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Provide support for daily operations, including site security systems, CCTV, fire alarms, and perimeter fencing.
  • Manage utilities and associated services (this list is not exhaustive).

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a qualified Electrical Engineer.
  • Multi-skilled in additional trades.
  • Apprenticeship qualified (ideal with a proven trade background).
  • C&G Level 3 – BS2365.
  • BS2391 – Inspection & Testing.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
