Company Overview: Equans is seeking a dedicated Mobile BMS Technician to enhance our Smart Buildings division, focusing on various sectors including commercial, retail, healthcare, education, and government.


Role Overview: This position offers a unique opportunity to implement essential Building Management System (BMS) upgrades and enhancements across multiple sites.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct installations, configurations, and commissioning of BMS components such as sensors, controllers, actuators, and software systems.
  • Perform maintenance checks on various BMS platforms, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Participate in a reactive call-out rota, with additional financial incentives for on-call duties.
  • Provide expert technical support and assistance to clients regarding their BMS systems.
  • Identify and recommend improvements or remedial actions to enhance BMS performance for clients.


Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ in Electrical.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in BMS and HVAC systems.
  • Strong understanding of the electrical industry and ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematic diagrams.
  • Familiarity with IT networks and proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Possession of a full UK driving license.
  • Experience in controls training and fault finding in electrical panels.
  • Strong report writing skills.
