About the Role
We are seeking a friendly and approachable Housekeeper to join our team at Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for our service users, staff, and visitors.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in communal areas, sanitary areas, clinic rooms, kitchens, offices, and corridors.
- Replenish stocks of disposable items, paper hand towels, and soap, working in accordance with relevant Health and Safety procedures.
- Complete cleaning records, signing off areas completed and noting areas that are inaccessible.
- Highlight areas of concern to the Hotel Service Supervisor, including ongoing issues around access.
- Collect and store waste from locations according to the Hospital waste disposal policy.
- Operate a range of cleaning equipment, ensuring their safe and effective use, and assessing the condition of equipment and reporting defects.
