About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Altech Group Ltd. as we continue to grow our DevOps capability.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the continuous development of our cloud-based solution, integrating our consumers with industry-leading hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automate cloud-based services to support our migration to a microservices architecture
• Lead, define, and support the AWS platform, including RDS management and maintenance
• Develop strong scripting skills (TypeScript, Python, PowerShell) to automate IaC delivery using Terraform
• Collaborate with our team to improve our pace of delivery and adopt a more mature Agile approach

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Expertise in AWS and cloud infrastructure
• Strong scripting skills and experience with automation tools
• Knowledge of IaC and Terraform
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• On-site presence in Rossendale, 1-2 days per week
