£57,500.00 per annum + discretionary bonus up to 10%

We are looking for a talented and driven Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer to become part of our innovative team. This position demands a robust electrical engineering foundation along with experience in the process, forces, or power sectors.

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of electrical maintenance skills and controls & instrumentation knowledge, with a focus on electrical tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute 50% electrical maintenance and 50% controls and instrumentation activities.
  • Oversee and resolve issues with low voltage electrical systems; high voltage experience is advantageous.
  • Enhance and maintain process controls and instrumentation.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of engineers, utilizing strengths in controls and instrumentation.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and quality regulations.
  • Offer technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Required: Strong background in electrical engineering.
  • Required: Experience within the process, forces, or power sectors.
  • Required: Expertise in low voltage electrical systems.
  • Preferred: Experience with high voltage electrical systems.
  • Preferred: SAP qualification (training will be provided).
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Package:

  • Salary: £57,500.00 per annum.
  • Discretionary bonus up to 10%.
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (flexible).
  • Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays.
  • Contributory pension scheme (4-7%).
  • Sick pay benefits.
