Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Brightwork Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment breakdowns, as well as performing periodic inspections and testing to ensure the smooth operation of our electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out all activities in full compliance with Health and Safety legislation, company policy, and procedure.
- Report any unsafe acts or conditions observed using the Near Miss System, in accordance with responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Perform electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and Reactive Maintenance (RM) on production equipment and electrical infrastructure.
- Diagnose faults and perform root cause analysis.
- Work in accordance with site procedures, engineering standards, and relevant legislation.
- Utilize the site Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all maintenance works.
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and to the required standard of workmanship.
- Work in accordance with the site permit to work system.
- A recognized electrical apprenticeship.
- Minimum HNC or equivalent in electrical engineering.
- Ability to diagnose faults on mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Good working knowledge of maintenance practice, MTBF, condition monitoring, etc.
- Experience in an electrical maintenance role.
- Ability to work to tight timescales.
