About the Position
We are currently seeking a dedicated Welfare Support Coordinator to enhance our efforts in providing assistance to individuals and families involved in a specialized government initiative. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on the support and care of clients during their transition.
As a Welfare Support Coordinator, you will be a vital member of the Transit Welfare Operations team, reporting directly to the Welfare Operations Manager. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the well-being of Service Users, many of whom may be in vulnerable situations. You will be tasked with delivering essential welfare support services, managing requests, and ensuring that all documentation is meticulously maintained for compliance and audit purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize database systems and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, along with familiarity with Customer Relationship Management tools.
- Exhibit a customer-centric approach, showcasing excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Plan and coordinate on-site activities that promote vocational and recreational engagement, alongside effective workload management.
- Engage professionally with a diverse range of clients, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and understanding.
- Work independently while prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Display qualities of supportiveness, trustworthiness, active listening, approachability, and empathy towards others.
