Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team in Doncaster. Our Doncaster site supports our customers through maintenance and operation optimization with customized solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing passenger and freight trains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the assets on the site while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and equipment uptime enabling the business to achieve the appropriate operational efficiency and customer service.
- Effectively control manpower allocated overheads and materials to achieve projects and necessary PPM.
- Manage a team and contract staff.
- Drive Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental improvements to comply with relevant legislation.
- Provide call-out service by telephone and arrange appropriate staff/contractors to attend the site.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in building systems, maintenance, and facilities management within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with tendering and implementing projects.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience in budget management.
- Legal authorization to work in the UK is required.
