They are currently seeking a dedicated installation supervisor to oversee the installation projects, ensuring that both you and the installation teams effectively manage each assignment from start to finish while consistently delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site assessments and managing the installation workflow from initial survey to final handover, ensuring compliance with company and client standards.
- Coordinating with trade professionals throughout the installation process and serving as the primary contact to keep clients informed.
- Ordering necessary materials, including doors and worktops, according to the design and installation timeline, and managing deliveries.
- Supervising and managing kitchen installers, including recruitment to uphold the company's high professional standards.
- Onboarding and training new installation personnel.
- Creating induction and health and safety documentation.
- Managing inventory levels of supplies and coordinating deliveries between the showroom and warehouse.
- Fostering and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Assisting in the daily operations of the showroom, engaging with customers, addressing inquiries, and demonstrating products.
- Willingness to assist with installations when necessary.
- Occasionally representing the director in sales discussions, with training provided.
- Working from the designated branch with regular site and customer engagements.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate for the Installation Supervisor role should be enthusiastic and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously to successful completion.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a project or operations manager, with strong people management skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in kitchen design and installation.
- Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent time management capabilities.
- Ability to lead a team of installers, both employed and subcontracted.
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients.
- Proficient in prioritizing tasks, managing a diverse workload, and exhibiting flexibility.
- Professional demeanor – punctual and courteous.
- Proactive and adaptable with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Competent IT skills; CAD experience is a plus.
In return, you will receive a competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience, along with potential performance bonuses and the use of a laptop. Access to a vehicle is required, and business mileage will be reimbursed. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional evening flexibility required.
