About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our CAMHS Inpatient Wards team as a Healthcare Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to young people with mental health difficulties.

Main Responsibilities

Assist in the delivery of quality care and support to young people on the Inpatient Wards, working closely with the Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Support and supervise young people during individual and group therapy sessions, using a blended learning approach to help them develop key skills and competencies.

Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring that all relevant information is recorded and communicated effectively.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with a good standard of general education, a qualification in Health and Social Care, and knowledge of factors contributing to adolescent mental health. Experience of working with CAMHS and knowledge of SystmOne are desirable, but not essential.
