Sr. Principal Systems Engineer
to support an Operations and Maintenance facility.
This role requires a two (2) year commitment and the ability to successfully pass a psychological evaluation. A comprehensive overseas compensation package is available for this position, including relocation assistance.
The successful candidate will provide technical planning, cost-benefit analysis, and integration support for operational systems. This Systems Engineer will also act as a liaison to engineering organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide engineering support including requirements definition/evaluation, planning, coordination, identifying and addressing impacts, generating documentation, and test support.
Research, prepare, and present baseline change proposals to internal and external stakeholders.
Plan, design, and support the execution of installation and integration activities addressing operational equipment obsolescence and the delivery of new systems/capabilities.
Develop and coordinate technical and conceptual trade studies between operational and maintenance teams.
Support system engineering functions for the program, including management of project schedules, program risks, opportunities, issues, and baseline changes.
Evaluate program operations and engineering activities to ensure maximum availability, maintainability, and overall performance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline plus 9 years of relevant technical/engineering experience
OR
Masters of Science Degree in a STEM discipline plus 7 years of relevant technical/engineering experience
OR
PhD Degree in a STEM discipline plus 4 years of relevant technical/engineering experience
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance & SCI Access
Ability to pass CI Polygraph examination prior to start date
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AMP/ATP/Mission 1 is highly desired.
Must be able to thrive and be an effective leader and contributor in a dynamic operational environment working across various organizations and interfaces.
Proven leadership experience on a project and/or team.
Familiarity with System Engineering foundations and concepts.
Experience with trending and monitoring tools/scripts (perl, python, MATLAB, DCL, etc.).
Experience in the use of LINUX, Perl, MATLAB, AGILE SW development tools.
Salary Range:
$121,000 - $181,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, the company considers various factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.In addition, the company provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
