Position:
Software Engineer - Python Specialist

Compensation:
Up to £45,000

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in machine learning and logistics algorithms. The successful applicant will join our team and make immediate contributions to our machine learning-driven route optimization and logistics solutions. This position requires an individual who can adhere to deadlines, think critically, and resolve challenges efficiently.

Location:
Hybrid – Birmingham, with in-office presence once every two weeks.

Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of experience in Python programming
- Familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas
- Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Proficiency in using GIT or similar version control systems
- A degree in Data Science or Mathematics is advantageous but not mandatory.

Desirable Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Python libraries like Numba and Dask
- Experience in integrating Python with C/C++ for enhanced computational performance
- Familiarity with developing CUDA/ROCm kernels for data processing tasks
- Expertise in algorithm design, including Monte Carlo methods, probabilistic models, and stochastic optimization.
