Job Summary:

RSK Group is seeking a skilled Arborist Climber to join their team at their Chester site. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of work, including commercial, rail, and domestic tree care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out climbing and groundsman duties, including driving and towing responsibilities, with confidence and competence.
  • Demonstrate proficient climbing skills, rigging techniques, and pruning skills to ensure high-quality work.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards and best practices at all times, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
  • Continuously develop your knowledge and skills, including your understanding of tree growth characteristics and tree risk assessments, to stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Previous climbing experience and the ability to work in accordance with the latest health and safety standards and industry best practices.
  • Hold relevant certifications, including NPTC, CS30, CS31, CS38, CS39, and NPORS 360 above and below 10Ton.
  • Be proficient in the use of equipment, such as woodchippers, stump grinders, and MEWPs.
  • Hold a valid First Aid certification and a full driving license.
  • Have experience with rigging, PTS, and CSCS.
