Job Title: Head of Private Equity Asset Class

This is a senior leadership role within the Private Equity team at Aztec Group, responsible for overseeing the delivery and development of the Private Equity Asset Class in Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the PE asset class team in Southampton to deliver high levels of employee motivation and engagement, building strong relationships with the teams.
  • Ensure superior client service is delivered with high touch and high tech decision-making.
  • Manage relationships and resolve conflicts within PE teams, other internal business partners, and externally with clients and suppliers.
  • Design and deliver a business plan for the growth and delivery of the Private Equity Asset Class in Southampton.
  • Collaborate with leaders across all product lines to ensure an aligned client experience and support cross-selling opportunities.
  • Act as the point of senior escalation for significant issues related to Private Equity clients.
  • Develop a network of meaningful contacts to grow Aztec's Private Equity business.
  • Assess client satisfaction for all services provided within the Private Equity Asset Class.
Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CGi qualified.
  • Considerable practical business and post-qualification experience in the Financial Services sector with a focus on Fund Administration and/or Accounting.
  • Sound technical professional services knowledge.
  • Strong relationship building capabilities.
  • Demonstrable experience of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Agility and adaptability.
  • Good conflict resolution skills.
  • Connected leadership and employee motivation and engagement.
  • Evidence of full responsibility for major client relationship(s).
  • Effective budget management.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative nature.
  • Solution-orientated critical thinking.
  • Ability to make and implement crucial recommendations.
