Role: Oracle Data Conversion Lead – HCM & Payroll

Location: Belfast

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Data Conversion Lead to join our team in Belfast. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading data conversion activities for Oracle Fusion projects, ensuring successful implementation and data quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand data migration requirements and define conversion strategies.
  • Design and implement data conversion processes and workflow to migrate data from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion.
  • Develop data mapping documents, data cleansing procedures, and conversion scripts.
  • Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities using Oracle Fusion Data Loader or other migration tools.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity throughout the conversion process.
  • Develop and execute test plans for data migration, including validation and reconciliation of migrated data.
  • Resolve data migration issues and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for custom data migration scripts.
  • Document data conversion processes, procedures, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience in data conversion and migration projects, preferably with Oracle Fusion projects.
  • Understanding of data migration concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Oracle Fusion Data Loader or similar data migration tools.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Data Conversion process.
  • Ability to convert master and transactional data for business objects in Oracle Cloud Applications, across business functions in HCM and Payroll.
  • Understanding of data migration best practices based on real-life user experiences on Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Oracle conversion tools to be used for successful data migration: FBDI, ADFdi, REST API, VBAFE.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
