**Location:** Brent, North West London
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely primary school in Brent. The successful candidate will work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 2 boy who requires support with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a child with SEMH in a primary school setting
- Develop and implement effective behaviour management techniques
- Collaborate with the SENCo and other therapists to ensure the best possible support for the child
- Attend regular training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
- Work closely with the child's teachers to ensure a cohesive approach to support
Requirements:
- Graduate with a 2:2 degree or above in a relevant field
- Strong understanding and experience of supporting children with SEMH
- Effective behaviour management techniques
- Confident, proactive, and dedicated individual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer:
- Competitive daily rate of £85-£100
- Long-term contract until at least July 2025
- Opportunity to gain experience supporting a child with complex needs
