Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team at Thornton Roofing. As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating various metal structures, including staircases, handrails, balustrades, entrance gates, secondary steel supports, architectural sculptures, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate metal components from technical drawings and specifications
  • Ensure all fabrications are completed to a high standard with attention to detail
  • Carry out welding tasks using appropriate techniques
  • Perform on-site fabrication and installations when necessary
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and best practices in the workshop and on-site
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, ideally within a construction or manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or arc welding
  • Experience fabricating complex metal components with a high level of precision
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Familiarity with modern fabrication processes, workshop practices, and on-site procedures
Working Hours

Full-time, Monday to Thursday, with flexible hours on Fridays
